The SNORC MTB Club acknowledge and pay our repescts to the Ku-ring-gai and Darug people. We acknowledge all of the Traditional Owners of country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
About
Our Roots
The SNORC MTB Club formed in circa 2008 by a group of local Mountain Bikers who took to the challenge and become a voice for the local riding community of the Hornsby Shire Region.
Born out of the leafy suburbs of the North Shore, SNORC begun it's life as an advocacy group to lead the way and help guide the discussion between the local riding community and local council's to assist the growth of Mountain Biking within the region.
This advocacy for riding and a health lifestyle led to the production of 3 unique legal destinations for all ages and skill levels to ride; Old Man's Valley Bike Park, Montview Dirt Jumps
& Jubes Bike Park (Kuring-gai Council)
SNORC continues to carry the torch for local trail advocacy, whilst also establishing itself as the a great Mountain Bike Club based out of the Old Mans Valley Bike Park.
Our aim through SNORC is to raise awareness about healthy living, bush conservation, inclusiveness and diversity within Mountain Biking.
