Aim is to raise funds with 100% of the proceeds being donated; on behalf of the broader mountain biking community and the Club, to the National Trust NSW. To help pay for the rehabilitation of Ahimsa, a heritage-listed bush site in Cheltenham, recently damaged by illegal trail building and trees being cut down.
The National Trust owns a number of bushland properties including Ahimsa.
The meaning of the name 'Ahimsa' is the ethical principle of not causing harm to other living things commonly referred to as “nonviolence”, and more literally translated from Sanskrit as “absence of injury”.
SNORC MTB Club is collecting Donations and holding a Raffle from Friday 8th October until midnight 22nd October 2021.
1st PRIZE Rhino-Rack Take 4 Hitch Mount Bike Carrier, valued at $489.00 RRP inc GST.
2nd PRIZE SNORC donated Jersey, valued at $79.95 RRP inc GST. Choice of Mens, Womens or Youth Jersey available.
Entry into the Raffle is $5 per Ticket. Donations in multiples of $5 will be counted as additional entries in the Raffle.
All $5 donations made during the Raffle period (Friday 8th October 2021 until midnight Friday 22nd October 2021) will automatically go into the draw.
All donations, of any amount, received during the Raffle period will be donated to the National Trust NSW.
Any unwanted prizes can be donated back to the Club for a redraw.

WINNERS will be drawn and announced LIVE on Saturday 23rd October 2021 at 7:30PM and then contacted directly.
A bulk donation of the full proceeds will be made to the National Trust NSW at the beginning of the following week.
